Tulsa Ballet returns for the first time in 9 years, with refreshing dancers who “move with breadth and weight and joy” (Financial Times). The program includes a world premiere by resident choreographer Ma Cong, who studied Chinese classical dance before turning to ballet. Also planned is Shibuya Blues by Colombian-Belgian dance maker Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Meðal (Among) by Helen Pickett, an American choreographer who danced for Ballett Frankfurt under William Forsythe. With a roster of 28 stunning dancers from 10 countries, Tulsa Ballet is regarded as one of the top ballet companies in North America.
