Jin Xing: From Military Officer to Ballet Dancer
One of the most fascinating artists performing today, Jin Xing, an ex-colonel in the Chinese army, began dancing as a nine-year old boy. After undergoing gender reassignment surgery, she returned to the stage in 1995 as a female modern dancer.
