Operated by The Joyce Theater Foundation, the newly-opened DANY (Dance Art New York) Studios joins Joyce SoHo in serving the needs of independent choreographers, not-for-profit dance companies and the dance/theater communities by providing eleven affordable studios appropriate for rehearsals, auditions, classes, workshops and more. Both locations offer lockers, showers, WiFi and other amenities.

Please note, with the exception of a series of Master Classes produced by our Education Program, The Joyce Theater Foundation and it's affiliated venues including The Joyce Theater, Joyce SoHo and DANY Studios, have no association with classes and workshops offered by teachers, artists, companies or other groups renting at our facilities. The Joyce is not responsible for the content of the classes nor the methods by which they are taught.

Major support for DANY Studios has been provided by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Subsidized rehearsal space at $10 per hour at DANY Studios and Joyce SoHo is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. Additional support has been provided by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Mertz Gilmore Foundation.
