Digital Curtain Chat

In our inaugural Digital Curtain Chat, we welcome choreographer Lucinda Childs, and dancers and producers Matt Pardo and Caitlin Scranton for a discussion with contemporary dance historian and Jacob’s Pillow Scholar-in-Residence Maura Keefe. 

Reminiscing on a nearly 40 year history of her work DANCE, Childs recalls her first moments of collaboration between composers Philip Glass and visual artist Sol LeWitt. Pardo and Scranton, who have both performed with the Lucinda Childs Dance Company for over a decade, speak to the enduring nature of DANCE and the unique experience of restaging the work through their producing entity, The Blanket.
