Subsidized Rehearsal Space
The Joyce Theater’s New York Center for Creativity & Dance
The Joyce Theater is dedicated to our mission to serve and support the dance community, promoting the richness and variety of our beloved art form. We are honored to partner with the New York State Council on the Arts to launch our Subsidized Rehearsal Space program at NYCC&D. Through this program, we offer discounted studio access to dance artists across the city, providing the key resources of time and space for the creative process. From March 2024 through December 2024, The Joyce Theater’s New York Center for Creativity & Dance will offer $10/hr rehearsal space to nonprofit dance companies and freelance dance artists in Studios 1, 2, and 3.
We are proud to announce that all subsidy hours have been awarded to over 200 dance companies. Please check back in 2025!
