Harkness JoycePass
The Harkness JoycePass is a program offering dance community members access to $10 tickets for prime seats in The Joyce Theater, which would typically be priced at $30 to $75 (prices subject to change). While The Joyce continues to offer $10 and $20 tickets to all audience members, this program is specifically designed to serve the dance community, and to support the synergy that occurs when dance artists and professionals encounter each other.

Who is eligible?
The Harkness JoycePass program provides up to 10 seats per performance to the following groups living in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT):
- Dance Professionals
- Dance Students
- Dance Teachers
- Dance Specialists
- Dance Educators
- Non-profit Performing Arts Administrators
How do I apply?
Please submit ONE of the following forms of validation by uploading an image or providing a link to:
- Current Pay Stub
- Current Student Transcript
- Current Non-Profit Employment ID or Business Card
- Any documentation associated with your work as a dance educator with NYC Public Schools
- Program or Flyer of a Recent Performance
- Website Listing Your Affiliation with a Company

How long does it take to process my application?
You will be contacted within five business days. We appreciate your patience as we review applications!
How do I use my Harkness JoycePass?
Once approved, you will be able to purchase available $10 tickets by logging into your account at joyce.org or by using a specific discount code. You may also purchase tickets by calling our box office. Harkness JoycePass will allow you to purchase one ticket per show, and the ticket must only be used by you.
How do I purchase tickets with Harkness JoycePass?
You’ll need to log into our website to take advantage of your Harkness JoycePass discount. To log in to The Joyce Theater website: click here. Enter your email address and password and click the “Login” button.
If you do not know your password or haven’t created one yet: click here. Enter your email address and click the “Email My Information” button. You will be sent an email with instructions on how to set or update your password.
Once you’ve logged in, you will be able to purchase tickets by browsing performances and selecting available seats from our online seat maps. Please note that the seat map displays full ticket prices. Your discounted price will appear only after the seat has been added to your shopping cart and you click the “Continue” button (the discounted price will appear after seat selection but before checkout).
Please note that if you purchase more than one seat for a particular dance company, additional tickets will be sold at full price and will be subject to applicable processing fees.
Tickets may also be purchased daily from noon–6pm at 212-242-0800, or by visiting The Joyce Theater's box office at 175 Eighth Avenue.
Some restrictions apply. There are a limited number of discounted seats available per performance. Discounts are subject to availability and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Harkness JoycePass is not available while using our website's 'guest checkout' option.
When does the Harkness JoycePass expire?
Harkness JoycePass will continue through the end of the 2024-2025 Season (August 31, 2025).
